Claude joined us in February of 1994 as a Geophysical Applications Programmer. He received his Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics in 1970 from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, and a Diploma in Physics and Mathematics from the Swiss Institute of Technology in Zurich. Claude has worked with Aquitaine Canada, PetroCanada and BP Canada as a Research Geophysicist, developing seismic and mapping software. Claude's extensive knowledge of theoretical physics and applied mathematics helped us to introduce wave propagation methods into our AVO program. He also helped implement advanced processes into our 3D AVO-Analysis program, like wavelet extraction. Currently, Claude is managing the development of our refraction statics program GLI3D. Claude's problem solving and language skills (French, German), combined with his easy going attitude, make him a very pleasant person to deal with. |
