Education
Partnerships with Universities
CGG establishes partnerships with universities all around the world, under which:
- scholarships are awarded
- workstations and racks are donated
- students have access to our technology
- CGG experts are involved as teachers and lecturers
CGG also participates in the financing of research programs in the areas of health (malaria research), environment (protection of marine mammals) and obviously earth sciences, etc.
We also encourage internships in every CGG center to enable students to have first work experiences and to promote transfer of skills.
Education of Children
CGG also encourages education through sponsorship of organizations, associations and foundations that promote the education of children. Some current examples:
- India 2009/2010 : Sponsorship of a Muktangan school
- Brazil 2010: Gol de Letra Foundation '10-year anniversary' event sponsorship
