We are pleased to announce that, effective May 1st 2010, Hampson-Russell’s Dubai office will be relocating to Abu Dhabi, co-locating into the existing CGG office.

Our Dubai office is responsible for servicing clients in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. We are delighted that this relocation will allow us:

  • To enhance the service we provide to our clients in the UAE, the majority of whom are located in Abu Dhabi. These users will benefit from closer proximity to our support staff.
  • To be more integrated with the services that the CGG processing center currently offers, benefiting clients throughout the region.

We hope that, in the future, an expert from the Hampson-Russell Software Services team will also be located into Abu Dhabi to offer dedicated reservoir characterization services to clients in the Middle East.

Uninterrupted Service

At the end of April, Business Development Manager Aman Mehammed will be relocating to Abu Dhabi, from where he will continue to look after our MENA clients. There will be no change to Aman’s email address: aman.mehammed@cgg.com.

As much as possible, we will ensure users suffer no interruption in services. However, clients needing assistance between 25th April and 6th May are advised to contact our London office initially, particularly those seeking technical support.

From Friday 7th May, please use the following address, telephone numbers and email addresses to contact us.

A Bit of History

Hampson-Russell’s Dubai office, originally a branch of Veritas DGC Ltd., was opened in 2003 by Adrian Smith, initially servicing clients in the Middle East and India regions. In July 2008, Adrian returned to London, appointing Aman Mehammed as Business Development Manager responsible for continuing the excellent client relationships and support in the region. At the same time, the Middle East & India region was reincorporated back into our larger EAME region, ultimately managed by the London office.

In July 2009, responsibility for India was moved from Dubai/London to our APAC region. This brought the Hampson-Russell software group into line with the rest of the CGG organization, which manages India from Singapore.
